1. Teams are placed in groups of 4 and a group round robin will be played according to standard ATS Leagues rules.
2. Each pair will play 3 matches, facing every other pair in their group.
3. After all group matches are completed, pairs will be ranked from 1st to 4th in each group.
4. Top 2 teams in each group will progress to knock out stages.
5. There are no late cancellations, no-shows etc, only the completed match score should be entered. If a player in a team has to step down for an injury, the opposing team will progress further, no substitutions are allowed.
6. A player from each team must enter the completed score for the result to be accepted by the system. Any match for which the score is not entered by both sides by the play-by date will be defaulted according to system rules.
7. Any match unplayed by the deadline will get recorded as a double default.
8. An appeals procedure will be defined in due course.
9. Matches consist of two sets, each up to 6 games, with a short tie-break (played to 7 points with a 2-point lead) if the score reaches 6-all in games.
10. If the match is tied at one set each, a match tie-break (played to 10 points with a 2-point lead) is played to decide the winner. A full third set is not played.
11. Deuces are played out in the standard format, without the application of sudden death rules.
